VILLA ROMANA DE VERANES
Museum in a Roman house exhibiting archaeological objects from Roman times to the end of the Middle Ages
The museum was inaugurated in 2007, on the site of the Roman town of Veranes, also known since antiquity as Torrexón de San Pedro. There are some remains of paved rooms and archaeological paths. The most impressive piece is an original mosaic from one of the Roman houses. In the exhibition room you will be able to see archaeological objects from the Roman period to the end of the Middle Ages, such as jewellery, coins, writing and hunting material, which were discovered during the excavations.
