Open since 1902 and tucked away in a little corner, this typical tapas bar, with the inevitable hams hanging above the counter, is particularly popular with locals and tourists alike. Everyone also appreciates the cuisine, with its emphasis on market produce and stews. The menu is extensive, as is the wine list, with over 300 local references. We recommend house specialties such as fabes with clams, Iberian sausages or well-cooked Cantabrian fish.

In the centre of Avilés. The food is good and well prepared but the prices are a bit high. Often organised events with special menus. Highly recommended wild boar stew.
