Lessay is home to Charles-Lindbergh Airfield. For the record, the famous aviator, during the very first flight across the Atlantic by plane he made, began his flight over France by the Cotentin. Here you can learn to fly (the panorama is breathtaking, the sea is only three short kilometres away), take lessons with an approved instructor or take part in continuing education courses in the summer.
