Inaugurated in 1954, this resort offers a 30.9 km skiable area, with 7 green, 7 medium and 4 black runs, and a transport capacity of approximately 8,425 visitors per hour (ski lift, chairlift...), as well as a cross-country run and a sledging area. There is also a ski school, restaurants, hostels, and aCueto negro cafeteria located on the highest point of the resort, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area from its panoramic windows.

Ça faisait au moins 10 ans que nous n'allions pas skier a Valgrande-Pajares, et a dire vrai nous avons ete agreablement surpris de son évolution. C'est une petite station de ski mais qui commence a avoir de bonnes installations avec des canons de neige dans les pistes, une vue panoramique a 1900 metres spectaculaire avec un bar a vue panoramique. Un point en contre c'est le grand nombre de skieurs qui s'y rendent les week end et les jours feries.Cela origine des queues assez longues dans les remontés. Nous les avons subi un dimanche ou il faisait un temps splendide, la station etait innondé de skieurs, par contre le lundi nous etions pratiquement seuls dans les pistes. Je recommande cette station pour y aller lorsqu'on a pas de jours suffisant pour faire du ski pendant une semaine, elle mérite le détour.
