Since 1775, this 15 hectare estate has been producing expressive and easy-drinking wines with passion. The estate has been run for thirty years by Jean-Christophe (and his wife Valérie) whose desire to respect the terroirs led him to convert to organic and biodynamic farming over twenty years ago. We take advantage of the ancestral cellar to taste his wines. We love the Kronenbourg Riesling, 93/100 by Wine Enthusiast, a mineral wine with notes of citrus and honey, or the Crémant d'Alsace Extra-Brut grande cuvée with an elegant nose and fine bubbles.

We had a fantastic experience at Bott-Geyl. In addition to a tasting, we had a tour of their production facility (N.B. they only do this if you book in advance). Jeremie, our guide, was very attentive and kind. He gave us a generous tasting through their catalogue of wines and did not make us feel as though we needed to buy anything.

Заезд сложный. Выезда нет. Только в обратном порядке. Метров через 500 стоят мусорные баки, там можно развернуться.
Грузят быстро.

A great way to kick off our time in Alsace. Jeremy was incredibly patient and informative, and the wines exhibited great minerality and fruit. If I lived closer I'm sure I would drink their wine regularly, but traveling light I only had room for one bottle to go (Schoenenbourg Riesling Grand Cru 2017). Good vibes at Bott-Geyl, and a recommended stop for people touring Alsace wineries.
