The French Consulate in Edinburgh is located in the middle of the Royal Mile. Most of the procedures are done by appointment. If you are travelling, you will have to deal with the consulate in case of loss of official identity documents, if you are arrested, incarcerated, or in case of serious illness or accident. In other words, we don't want you to contact him! Expatriates will find contacts there for all matters relating to tax administration, social security, elections or military matters (national security day for young people, for example).
