The Mussel Inn is always a busy pedestrian street, and many tourists pass by the Mussel Inn. They're not wrong about coming here. Edinburgh locals also mingle, white-collar workers, couples or friends, in between shopping sessions... Faced with this incessant flow, the service, with its mussel and chips and seafood specialities, does not give up on its quality. We appreciate the great freshness and quality of the products, as well as the low prices and the quicky (lunchtime) and early (pre-theatre) menus. The atmosphere is always pleasant and relaxed.

Wspaniała restauracja w Edynburgu oferująca jakże dobre i świeże owoce morza. Obsługa szybka, miła i pomocna. Potrafiła nam odradzić. Zupa chowder smakowała świetnie, bo tego zamówiliśmy przegrzebki i lokalne trunki. Bardzo smaczne i ładnie podane ! Polecamy !

Came here for my 20th birthday and had a wonderful experience!

The seafood is fresh and the specials of the day were wonderful. I ordered the special of the day “Applewood Smoked Cheese Mussels” and they were amazing. I had my birthday this day and mentioned it for the booking and the staff brought me a really nice dessert with a candle for free!

I definitely recommend this place if you want to try good seafood, especially mussels.
