Leo's Beanery hides in a Georgian basement in New Town, but it is one of the most charming coffee shops in the city.

Leo's Beanery is a little hidden in a Georgian basement in New Town, but it's one of the most charming coffee shops in the city. Held by a couple and their employees, it is a choice of choice for breakfast, lunch or a simple snack with coffee. The seal is unique, thanks to furniture made with benches of churches and good little music. Sandwiches, soups, salads, quiches and cakes are a delight.

Lindo ambiente. Comida casera. Todo perfecto.

Cute little brunch place. The food was tasty however the options seemed quite restrictive. There is a no-laptop policy (or up to 1hour), you cannot charge your phone or laptop and it was relatively cold inside. I think there is room for improvement.

Just an absolute delight every time we are there. Amazing french toasts and lovely vibe.

Wonderful coffee and the most delicious croque Monsieur scone ever. Favourite place.

The food was good and lovely decor inside. The service, however friendly, was a bit strange. Seated at the only available table, ordered, and served our drinks but asked to move to another table “in case a larger group arrives”. Then moved back to the original table when, after 5 minutes, another party of 2 come in?
Been working in a coffee shop for 8 years and I find it strange to move around people several times…particularly when there was nobody waiting for the table we were sat at originally, and especially after being served.
