Leo's Beanery is a little hidden in a Georgian basement in New Town, but it's one of the most charming coffee shops in the city. Held by a couple and their employees, it is a choice of choice for breakfast, lunch or a simple snack with coffee. The seal is unique, thanks to furniture made with benches of churches and good little music. Sandwiches, soups, salads, quiches and cakes are a delight.

Small and cozy breakfast place. Varied menu options (incl. vegan ones) and decent tea selection. Food is quite good. Several tasty desserts. Very friendly staff, though quite busy during Sunday brunch.

The menu is rather small but you can find many vegetarian and vegan options. The breakfast was amazingly delicious and the service was very lovely.
We had the vegetarian toast, banana bread and brie sandwich.

We came by for breakfast twice. Actually, we came a third time on Wednesday but they were closed?!
Both times I had the eggs and bacon on a muffin with hollandaise. They were excellent. The coffee and mochas are great too.
Nice little place for a bite to eat and coffee or tea. Would definitely come here again if ever nearby.
