There's no shortage of French restaurants in Edinburgh, and this one is particularly good. Fred Berkmiller runs it with an expert hand, working closely with local Scottish producers to source ducks, rabbits, chickens and seafood, which he adds with a distinctly Scottish touch. The idea is to exploit the local terroir. The cooking is perfect and there's nothing to complain about. All this is accompanied by an excellent wine list, mainly French.

Nous avons payé 120 £ pour le dîner avec 3 verres de vin et 2 plats principaux.
Il s'agit peut-être des nouveaux prix "normaux", mais je n'étais tout simplement pas préparé. De plus, j'ai été piqué par un insecte alors que j'étais assis à la table dans une salle à manger plus petite, et je ne l'ai remarqué qu'à la maison, en me changeant.
La nourriture et le service étaient excellents, cependant, et les portions sont de bonne taille.
