The hostel is one of the authentic hostels where you have a big common room to meet and talk with people. The atmosphere is a real hostel atmosphere. You also have music in the showers room :)
There is a movie room, music one and a big kitchen.
You can have breakfast just for 3 pounds.
I found the staff that work at the hostel to be hostile and intimidating. Staff sell drugs from within the hostel, some staff use the hostel as a place to live illegally in the UK; management-goons are untrustworthy, tyrannical liars
It's a shame the staff (not the owners) dampened my experience here other than that I would say that this castle truly rocks.
Die Lage ist echt unschlagbar gut und gleiches gilt für den Preis. Ich würde sofort wieder hier eine Nacht verbringen. Das Ambiente ist unbeschreiblich schön. Meine absolute Empfehlung!

에딘버러성 바로 근처에 있고 올드타운 로얄마일등 관광하기 좋은 위치라서 편했어요.
시설은 뭐 평범한 호스텔 시설이고 조식도 3파운드에 먹을만 합니다. 샤워실에 뜨거운 물 잘 나오고요. 스탭들도 친절함.
그리고 춥다는 후기가 있어서 걱정했는데, 3월에 이용했는데 전혀 춥지 않았어요.
주방 사용할 수 있고 라운지 공간도 충분하고..
보완할 점이라면, 침대 매트가 많이 꺼져 있었다는 것과 방에 옷걸이 같은게 좀더 있었으면 좋겠다는거?

Si sabes inglés esta genial, sino también sobrevivis, si sos joven es tu lugar, si estás un poco más grande como yo (52) estás bárbaro porque estás alojado en el centro de la ciudad y podes hacer todos los recorridos caminando. Especial recorrer todo con los free tours.

Amazing location just near the castle, Breath taking views, of course the people are amazing there :-)
Highly recommend if anyone is cosine Edinburgh.
suspicious mayo. I wonder who feels like eating potato salad at 7 am? The cereal options were lacking at best, no fun fruit loops just corn corn flakes. Yum! Not.There was a mysterious woman constantly asking us if we paid as she peeled potatoes in the corner for tommorow’s similar style breakfast. I was not enthused by the fact us backpackers were entrusted to wash the dishes. We are not to be trusted.
La cuisine commune permet de faire des économies sur les repas et de vivre une expérience peu commune. Beaucoup de nationalités/personnalités s'y croisent et c'est absolument incroyable!
