Jackie Herriott, the owner of the place, is an epicurean. She loves life, wine and France, so you'll be here in conquered territory. She speaks a little French, which can be useful to help you discover the area and the city. The four large bedrooms are superb, with excellent bedding and functional bathrooms where nothing is missing. The breakfast is delicious and its whisky porridge is complimented by the finest connoisseurs. It is a very nice address just a few meters from Leith Walk and close to New Town.

The guesthouse is located in a more quiet area but still close to all the sightseeing spots in Edinburgh. Ollie is the best host and helps you with everything. Breakfast can be chosen from a variety of options. We tried the Scottish breakfast, the Salmon breakfast and the Continental breakfast. All of them were great and come with porridge and drinks (coffee, tea and juice). They also have a nice garden in the back of the house.
