A-Haven impresses even before you push the door open: its wide corner facade is covered with ivy all the way to the roof. Inside, 14 rooms of various sizes offer all modern comforts, private bathrooms and some pleasant views. The staff is as helpful as they are attentive and there is a lounge and bar area for guests. Wanted a place to stay close to our son and this was ideal. Bus stops 1 minute walk away. Very good welcome when we arrived. Excellent breakfast as was the service throughout. Room was ok but ensuite small but adequate

Ahaven is a brilliant location for a visit to Edinburgh. Lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. Ten minute ride into the city centre. Brilliant service around the city an all day pass costs £4.50. I would recommend staying at this Town house. Thanks David and staff.
