With its location just 200m from Princes Street, Cityroomz is right at the entrance to the West End, close to New Town. Its 72 rooms are recent and quite classical, all equipped with a television and a bathroom. The smaller ones are logically the cheapest, but some can also accommodate families. There are two breakfast options and open communal areas for a drink. Proximity to the street can sometimes be heard, but it is also the price of such centrality.

We booked the Queen Suite for 1 night, as we were 4 people. The hotel is very conveniently located and has a bus stop right in front of it. The check in was very smooth and they courteously stored our luggage for us when we arrived in the morning (before check in time). The room was well furnished with all required appliances, including a working kitchen set up. It was neat, tidy and comfortable. Even though the room was smaller than it looked in the pictures online, it was more than enough for a short stay. Even though we did leave behind some small things, they were very helpful and kept it for us to come pick it back up. The staff are all very friendly. We had a minor incident just before checkout, where the power got tripped (likely from using the toaster provided) and it took a while to fix it.
Overall, it was a very nice and affordable stay in Edinburgh.

Très bien situé (le château de Edimbourgh est visible au coin de la rue à même pas 100 mètres !), la chambre est confortable et bien pour un cours séjour. Calme et bien chauffé pendant les froides nuits d'hiver.
Gros + : la navette pour l'aéroport s'arrête juste DEVANT la porte de l'hôtel !

good room, comfortable bed, good bathroom, nice central location easy to reach town center and airport with public transport. Unfortunately wi-fi was horrible, otherwise rating would be 5 stars. It was hard to load even basic webpages, let alone do zoom business calls or watch any videos.
