Overlooking Edinburgh Castle and Waverley Station, The Scotsman is a 4-star hotel built in 1905. It has a sublime baroque architecture. The hotel once housed the offices of the national newspaper The Scotsman, hence the name. Situé en plein centre ville, en surplomb juste derrière la gare, se dresse le Scotsman Hotel. Pour y accéder, n'hésitez pas à emprunter l'escalier qui le jouxte (marches en marbre magnifiques). Partout, du sol au plafond, on y retrouve le même tartan. Les nombreuses chambres sont très confortables et propres. Tout en étant ancien, cet hôtel est luxueux. Le service est impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner que vous le preniez continental ou écossais est très copieux, vous pouvez également commander des plats à la carte ! La ville toute entière est à vos pieds mais vous avez aussi la possibilité de prendre un bus juste devant l'hôtel pour vous rendre où vous voulez.
