The staff here is absolutely fantastic! Rooms are clean and you couldn't ask for a better location. Royal Mile is approximately a 15 minute walk. Plenty to do in the area. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this hotel! I was upgraded as an IHG Platinium member to a gorgeous large room. The hotel’s location is excellent with most of Edinburgh points of interest at walking distance. The train station and tram to the airport are also at a convenient distance from the hotel.

The staff was amazing and good food and drinks options.

Stayed for two minutes nights April 2024. Great location, nice spacious rooms, good breakfast in a lovely dining room. The staff where 1st class, Molly on reception greeted us with a warm friendly welcome, offering help and advice on where to go and what to do while in Edinburgh, a major asset to this hotel. As was the lady in the dining room, sorry didn't get her name, who remembered my breakfast preference, and veggie sausages were served without having to ask.

This hotel is ideally situated to view all the main sites of Edinburgh. The downstairs of the hotel is lovely, nice plush lobby, bar area and the hotel breakfast area is nice with a good quality breakfast. However, our room was so cold despite being given a small portable heater, which doesn't really work as the ceilings are so high and the windows are sash. Staff were friendly and helpful.
As a result, we didn't get a 4 star experience, as we had to sleep in our dressing gowns to keep warm. Looked forward to getting home for a hot bath and a warm bed!
