Balmoral is the quintessence of British chic in the heart of Edinburgh. The building is one of the most beautiful in the city. It was built in 1902 and has never ceased to be a hotel since. Inside, 188 double rooms, some of them communicating, offer all the brilliance expected of such an address. Huge bed, desk, armchairs, flat screen, bathroom with bathtub, everything is there, and more: a spa, a gym, a swimming pool, a sauna, two restaurants, a tea room and two bars, one of which offers more than 400 Scotch whiskies

Right next to Waverley station. Had drinks at the bar, outdated looking but barmen made delicious cocktails!!!

Fabulous stay. The rooms were immaculate. The service top notch. Food and bars were tremendous.

Great friendly staff, was welcomed with smiles all around. Rooms can do with renovation but overall highly recommended.

Excellent hotel! The room was so Spacious and felt luxurious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room service is offered late and tasty.
