In fine weather, there is nothing like a lunch on the terrace of the Royal Botanic, among the trees. From some of the tables you can enjoy beautiful views of Edinburgh. In the self-service buffet stalls you will find gourmet salads concocted with beans, vegetables and seasonal herbs as well as a choice of hot dishes served between 11:30 and 14:30. At tea time, we appreciate crumbles cooked with seasonal fruits, scones or creamy pastries. The place is very popular with families on sunny Sunday afternoons!
