ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH

The contrast is striking between the dark appearance of the exterior and the brightness of the interior. The exterior is marked by a chiselled architecture, designed by the architect William Burn in 1818. The neo-Gothic building creates a surprise for those who cross its threshold: stained glass windows, ceilings, walls, icons, organs, it is all in colour and clarity. The church is open for free, although a donation will be appreciated if you take pictures, and hosts regular masses and events.
