TRON KIRK
The Tron Kirk is an old church, built between 1636 and 1647. Its imposing spire can be seen from all over town, making the building the gathering point for the Hogmanay festival. It was here that goods and merchandise were weighed, as well as souls, so to speak, since criminals were punished here. Having come down through the centuries with some difficulty, it has now come under the temporary umbrella of Edinburgh World Heritage. The organization is presenting an exhibition on Scotland's rich history and landscape.
