This church, which has been undergoing renovation since 1991, is special in many ways. The famous King David, who saw a white stag crowned with a cross, is depicted throughout, providing the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the story. There's also a World War II memorial chapel, featuring a glass case with Dunkirk sand, in commemoration of the D-Day landings. Finally, it is recognized as the capital's military church, adopted by the Royal Scots in 1983.
