The Britannia, Britain's last royal yacht in service from 1953 to 1997, is today a five-star tourist attraction and an exclusive venue for evening events in Edinburgh. Visitors can explore the state apartments, crew quarters and engine room. They can also discover why the Britannia was so special to Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family, and what life was like on board for the crew. The Britannia occupies a special place in maritime history as the latest in a long line of royal yachts. To guarantee entry, it is advisable to book tickets online in advance. The Britannia is also the sister ship of the Fingal Hotel, where guests can extend their stay in one of the luxurious cabins.

Schedule: in January, February and March from 10am to 3.30pm. In April, May, June and October from 10am to 4pm. In July, August and September from 9.30am to 4.30pm. In November and December from 10am to 3.30pm. Adult rate: around €13

Magnifique coque, dommage qu'elle ait bougé pour incorporer un centre commercial mais ce bateau reste magique,

de la cale à la passerelle, de la coupé au poste de commandement en passant par les coursives, les salons... toute la visite est une croisière à faire à pied mais qui reste magique

A refaire sans hésiter.... c'est ce que j'ai fait après 15 ans ...

If you are a fan of the royal family is the visit unmissable. You can reach the royal apartments and find yourself in the privacy of this family. Do not forget to have a break in Royal Deck Tea Room before setting out again. Access to the boat is on the 2nd floor of the shopping centre " Terminal" ocean;
