This is one of the must-visits for lovers of religion and old books. As well as telling the story of the house and its famous inhabitants - James Mosmann, the royal jeweler who created the Scottish crown, and John Knox, the father of Scottish religion and a key figure in Scottish history - it also tells the story of humanities and first impressions. On display are a collection of books by great humanists, a 1521 Bible and John Knox's History of the Reformation within the Realme of Scotland. It is also home to the Scottish Storytelling Association.
