This Victorian style manor house with terraces, turrets, garden, copses offers superb views of the countryside from the rooms. It belonged to Colonel Cringletie, to whom Quebec surrendered after the death of General Wolfe. You will admire the trompe l'oeil ceiling and the walled kitchen gardens. The enclosed garden, dating from 1666, is listed and you can walk along the path through the woods. The hotel's restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and an award as Gastronomic Experience of the Year 2019.
