Situated in the countryside, this beautiful 19th century building, built for the Duchess of Sutherland, is located just outside Melrose. It is set against the beautiful rolling landscape of the Borders and the Tweed River. The rooms are very spacious, with a slightly outdated decor but where nothing is missing. The establishment also welcomes... horses! If you are travelling on horseback, this stopover will be perfect for you, as in addition to giving your mount a proper welcome, we will advise you on the best horseback riding routes.
