This is Glasgow's premier beer pub, a veritable institution. With no less than 800 beers and around 400 whiskies - he won the UK Whisky Bar of the Year - it's hard to go wrong pushing his doors, even if he's a bit off-centre, straddling the centre and the West End. On the catering side, it is their meat that enjoys an excellent reputation. The interior is quite classic and there are a few tables outside. For live music, it's Saturday at 9pm. There are also quizzes on Wednesdays starting at 8pm.
