Based on Charles Rennie Mackintosh's 1901 plans, this delightful residence was actually built between 1989 and 1996. The materials were chosen to reflect as closely as possible the world of the architect and that of his wife, who designed the interiors. Fans are sure to appreciate the dining room, oval room and main hall, all very typical of their designer. All set in a wooded environment, in Bellahouston Park. It is also an art gallery and exhibition space.

Absolutely magnificent square, little frequented, provided audioguides are complete and recommended (which is not often the case).
This place is a RARE place, because this house was built after the death of its designer, according to some maps and drawings.
A jewel of art deco not miss during a visit to Glasgow
