Whithorn Priory is the arrival point of this pilgrimage route, which is over 1,000 years old and which has recently been brought back to life with the creation of a guide book (available for £12). It is divided into 13 segments, which will be a great idea for hiking if you are passing through the area. Each is marked by remarkable buildings, both architecturally and historically. The route follows existing footpaths and cycle paths, coastal paths or passes through little-used side roads.
