On the edge of the Leven River, across the bridge from the train station, this pub is a good spot to stop for a drink for a few moments. The interior is beautifully rustic and cosy, with a fireplace and exposed beams. The place has quite a history, since the establishment was born at the beginning of the 18th century, when the ferries crossed the river, then it became a hotel where the Empress Eugenie (wife of Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte) stayed in 1860. Several beers including three hand-pulled are available.
