If you're willing to get lost in the countryside to get out of the center of Oban for a while, the Barn is an authentic inn that cooks great Scottish food and serves some good beers. It is recognized by CAMRA - but not only! It has won several awards over the years and offers products from the nearby Fyne Ales brewery. The carpeting, the stone or panelled walls and the imposing bar create a warm atmosphere. If you're there on a2nd Sunday of the month, enjoy a traditional roast!
