The Oban Winter Festival started in 2011, when some Oban residents wanted to organize an event before Christmas. On the program now, to immerse yourself in the holiday atmosphere: a Victorian market, reindeer, an ice rink, evening shows, musical workshops, entertainment for children, one or two ceilidh, lighting of Christmas lights, sound and light show... As a result, the award-winning initiative is attracting visitors from all over Scotland, making Oban a festive pre-Christmas destination.
