Opening in summer 2015, this hostel is one of the most modern in Hostelling Scotland, ideally located in the centre of the island's capital city. In a red-walled building, everything is new and modern, with 60 beds that can be chosen as dormitory or private rooms (double, triple, quadruple and quintuple) as required. There is of course a kitchen and a living room to meet and eat, as well as a drying room and a laundry room. There is also an on-site grocery store where you can buy basic groceries.

Une auberge de jeunesse qui se prend pour un hôtel ! Une chambre double premium, seulement pour le prix ! Chambre demandée au calme : elle donne sur la route principale : heureusement qu’en cette saison (octobre) le trafic est réduit. Un lave-mains en guise de lavabo ! Que vous soyez côté Hôtel ou auberge de jeunesse, on vous demandera de défaire votre lit et de déposer draps et serviettes dans la corbeille prévue à cet effet. Le plus cher de nos hébergement en Ecosse s’est révélé être le moins bien !

Auberge de jeunesse Amish très bien située au centre de Portree, très près du port qui peut être très bien pour les lits en dortoir mais qui fut épouvantable pour la petite chambre double que nous avons occupé avec la fenêtre au niveau du trottoir et de la rue fort passante.
Tarif en juillet exorbitant.
Salle d'eau réduite aussi.
