At the western entrance to Durness on the A838, Lazy Crofter is a well-appointed, child-friendly hostel with dormitories for up to 20 people, private rooms and accommodation for rent. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a shared kitchen for cooking and a living room for relaxing. The price-quality ratio is attractive and the opening even in winter makes it an interesting economic dropping-off point. Finally, the location is also a real asset, with the proximity of restaurants, pubs, shops and beaches.
