This Georgian house, now a world-class hotel, was the home of Charles Edward Stuart during his campaign in Culloden. His enemy Cumberland, the victor of the battle, moved in after 1746. The atmosphere is refined, and you can enjoy a variety of facilities: an Adam-style lounge, a whisky bar in a library, and a 40-hectare wooded park where you can stroll at will. You can also play golf, tennis and croquet. The restaurant is excellent and open to all.
