Très belle visite. Ne pas rater la chapelle avec le seul vitrail présentant un ange jouant de la cornemuse.

pas de chance
Un fort à la Vauban très bien entretenu étant donné qu'il a toujours une vocation militaire et un musée sur le régiment des highlanders, mais manque de chance, le jour de notre visite il y avait de telles rafales de vent et des trombes de pluie glacée qui nous ont interdit l'accès aux remparts et donc pas de vue sur la mer

Rien d'exceptionnel si ce n'est la vue que l'on a sur la mer : sublime !

This fort is still occupied by soldiers, it is visited mostly for the view from the ramparts towards the sea, the cannons are still enposition defence

Very pretty that nothing exceptional either. (it belongs to the monuments that you can visit free to explore it pass). An attractive view of the ramparts, lots of buildings to visit, retracing the military history of Scotland. Personally, it is the appearance that interested me, and the view of the various viewpoints
