THE ARCHIBALD SIMPSON
This Wetherspoon pub has been set up in a beautiful granite building and is named after the local architect Archibald Simpson, who designed it. It was once the headquarters of a bank and the interior has retained many of the beautiful features of days gone by in its high ceilinged room. At the counter there are 12 real ales on display, honouring many Scottish breweries at the best possible price in town. The menu, which includes snack and pub food, is wide brewed and offers vegetarian, light, gluten free options...
