The Royal Aberdeen Golf Club of Aberdeen was founded in 1780 and was first called the Society of Golfers at Aberdeen. It became the Aberdeen Golf Club in 1815. Until 1888, members played on the Queen's Links near the city. The course was designed by the Simpson brothers, Archie and Robert de Carnoustie, and then taken over and extended by James Braid, in an effort to adapt to the modern game. Reservations are recommended if you wish to play on this exceptional green with a breathtaking view of the sea. Proper attire is required
