CARNOUSTIE GOLF LINKS
Carnoustie Golf Links, located in the Royal Burgh of Carnoustie, Angus County, eastern Scotland, is a renowned golf course. It hosts the British Open Golf Tournament. Founded in 1842, it has a long history and is considered one of the finest golf courses in the world. Carnoustie Golf Links comprises three courses: the Championship Course, the Burnside Course and the Buddon Course. The Championship Course has hosted eight Open Championships, two Women's Opens and two Seniors Opens, making it one of the few courses in the UK to have hosted these major events. The Burnside Course is full of character and was the scene of Ben Hogan's qualification for the Open Championship in 1953. The Buddon Course, meanwhile, offers a mix of links and fairway golf and is a unique test to enjoy. Carnoustie Golf Links also features a pro shop and indoor performance center.
