The V&A Dundee finally opened its doors on September 15, 2018. Designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the building blends seamlessly into the urban landscape and is reminiscent of the cliffs in the east of the country. The museum showcases the very best of Scottish design, from fashion to furniture and architecture, in its eclectic "Scottish design" gallery. Among the exhibits is a reproduction of a room designed by interior designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Temporary exhibitions complete the offer.
