On the banks of the Tay River, this vast pub of the Wetherpoon chain offers all the advantages of a classic of the Enseigne: a nice choice of real ales at any price, local customers, lots of places, and a good selection of whiskies to make its ranges. It is not the pinnacle of the traditional, but it is difficult to get wrong by pushing the door where it is good to drink a pint without getting ruined.
