The Albany Hotel is a boutique hotel located in the heart of the historic town of St Andrews, Scotland. It is a small, friendly 3-star hotel, the first in St Andrews to be awarded the prestigious title of "Townhouse Hotel" by the Scottish Tourist Board. The building itself is a charming conversion of a traditional Georgian townhouse dating from 1764. The hotel has 22 bedrooms, all en-suite, and offers free Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Although the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, it is ideally located close to many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. St Andrews University, St Andrews Castle and the Cathedral are all within walking distance of the hotel. St Andrews' famous Royal & Ancient Golf Club and the Old Course are also within walking distance.
