Quite off-centre to the east of the city, this station of very contemporary architecture is the most modern in Saint Petersburg. Inaugurated with great pomp by President Vladimir Putin in 2003, on the occasion of the celebrations of the tercentenary of Piter, it serves regional and long-distance destinations in northern and eastern Russia (Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Chelyabinsk, etc.). Two counters open 24 hours a day. Schedules subject to change.
