This restaurant has been at the forefront of Petersburg's gastronomy since 2000, both in St. Petersburg and in Repino (a seaside town 40 km away). It is very close to the Smolny Institute and is an ideal combination with the tour. Its traditional Russian bourgeois (or even imperial!) cuisine hits the spot. Start with the traditional pirojkis, continue with a smoked sea bass salad with potatoes and sauerkraut. Save room for the Napoleon (Russian-style millefeuille), one of the best in town.
