With nearly a hundred addresses in the city, it's hard to miss these restaurants, which are extremely popular with both St. Petersburgers and tourists. As a pancake lover, you'll be in paradise here, since the recipes are available in both sweet and savoury varieties at very attractive prices. Don't miss the smoked salmon one, both simple and delicious, or the Ilya Murometz made with pork, mushrooms and cheese. The decoration is fast-food style but the pancakes are prepared to order. There are also several kiosks (M° Vladimirskaia or on Italianskaia street for example) for an even cheaper take-away (320 RUB the salmon pancake). A very good plan!
