MAYAK
An authentic coffee bar that hasn't changed since the 1970s. A motley mix of customers, cheap and warm.
One of the last institutions of the Soviet restoration. The facility has remained virtually unchanged since the 1980s, and the staff has not changed. The place has its history, its celebrities and no one here will judge you for having a drink on a Monday afternoon. Putin's portrait is next to Lenin's on walls decorated with Soviet attributes and many football team scarves. The regulars play chess while drinking a small glass with mustard and pea sosiskis.
