ZENIT SAINT-PÉTERSBOURG
Zenit was born in 1936 from the merger between Stalints and Zenit Leningrad, whose name it will keep. Not very successful during the Soviet period, it reached its full potential in the 1990s. It is now considered the second best club in the country and regularly wins the Russian Championship. He is also doing very well at the European level, where he is probably the best known Russian club: he won the Europa League in 2008, then the European Supercup, against Manchester United, and is regularly present in the Champions League
