PISKAREVSKOYE MEMORIAL CEMETERY
The Piskarevskoye Cemetery Memorial, located in the north-east of the city, is a poignant tribute to the sacrifice of the people of St. Petersburg during the deadly blockade of Leningrad from September 1941 to January 1944. A huge necropolis, where 490,000 victims of bombing, famine or epidemics are buried on the same site during those dark years. Historians estimate that the total number of victims of this appalling siege, which lasted nearly 900 days, was 1,000,000. The straight and uniform alignments of carefully maintained burial mounds stretch as far as the eye can see, dominated by an ever-blossoming monument of remembrance, the statue of the Motherland. The people of St. Petersburg have not forgotten their dead, and many of them pass through the main entrance, propylae in the antique style, to pay their respects and visit the museum where photos and other archival documents illustrate the heroic episodes of the defence of Leningrad.

The name of the place in Russian contains a fault. The Russian transliterations English French/are Piskarevskoïé or Piskariovskoïé or Piskaryovskoye and not PISKAREVSKI.
It is not in the northwest of Spb but in the North-East.
The blockade took place of the 8 seven 1941 January 27th, 1944 (and not 1945!)
La Tania was never killed. NEVER. It as all her family died including hundreds of thousands of others of various diseases due mainly malnutrition, cold (40/45° during winter 41/42)
