Founded in 1971 on the initiative of his descendants, this museum faithfully reproduces the atmosphere from which the great Russian composer of the second half of the 19th century drew his inspiration. The four rooms of the apartment, which have kept the decor of the time, were frequented by all the great masters of Russian music - Shalyapin, Vroubel, Serov, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Stravinsky, Stassov - who used to meet there for Korsakov's popular Wednesdays.
