MUSEUM OF RAILWAY TECHNOLOGY
This museum is a 10-minute walk from Baltiskaya station. After the closure of Varchavskaya station in 2001, he had to move to a large number of locomotives and wagons of all kinds, old and modern, all restored and brand new. A very fun visit. However, it was disappointing that there was no explanation in English. Whether in the legends or in the brochures, everything is in Russian. You can simply admire the locomotives of the tsariste period or Soviet period (one with the broad profiles of Lenin and Stalin on his nose). You will also notice trains used in time of war, with trailers to carry guns, and an artillery locomotive used during the Winter War (the Russian-Finnish war of 1939), as well as in 1941. If you can climb on the steps, unfortunately you cannot visit the cars!
