When to go Saint-Petersburg (Санкт-Петербург) ?
Piter generally experiences a harsh winter from November to March. Generally, because the winter of 2020 was marked by a virtual absence of snow and freezing temperatures. Tourist numbers peak during the "White Nights" (mid-May to mid-June). The city tends to be visited all year round, but considering the most balanced mix of mercury/ sunshine and visitor numbers, we advise against November and February and recommend the months of April and July to September.
